I've seen some great recipes on WW over the years but it's scattered all over the place. I enjoy proper home cooked food with lots of taste. Tomorrow I'm going to try TTS's link cheese on toast.

I make a similar version of that recipe. I think you will find it very tasty.
You could also add some finely chopped onions to the mix too. If they are to your taste.

(sometimes listed as black eyed peas)

A very tasty vegetarian option.

I have a collection of her cook books, and this is by far my favourite of her recipes.

Not going to type it out, as you can easily Google and find it on line. (In a number of variants)

However, you really do need to adopt the Indian methods of cooking. If you just bung the ingredients into an English style of cooking, the result will be disappointing.
